Following a distinguished 12-year career as a Cavalry Officer in the British Army, Matthew Hurley transitioned from military service to entrepreneurship, retiring as a Major in 2007. Drawing on his leadership experience, he co-founded Poseidon Group, building it into a global enterprise with a strong focus on commercial property investment, development, and management.

Under Matthew’s guidance, Poseidon Group has grown organically, establishing eight offices across four continents and employing over 1,000 team members. The Group has invested over €400 million in equity, partnering with pension funds, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals to deliver high-value real estate solutions.

Matthew’s strategic vision has positioned Poseidon Group as a leader in the global real estate sector, with a portfolio spanning office, retail, and residential developments, and a commitment to sustainable growth.

A Chartered Surveyor and property investor, Oliver Hurley brings over two decades of expertise in real estate investment and development. A graduate of Oxford Brookes University in Real Estate Investment, Oliver honed his skills as an investment manager at Knight Frank and Legal & General. Notable achievements include managing 120,000 sqm of European mixed-use real estate, acquiring over £1.1 billion worth of property, and developing over 142,000 sqm across office, retail, and residential sectors.

Since co-founding Poseidon Group in 2007, Oliver has led the growth of the company into a global operation, with eight offices across three continents and over €400 million in equity investments. Under his leadership, the Group has developed more than 280,000 sqm of real estate and manages eight active real estate platforms in partnership with pension funds, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals.

As Managing Director, Oliver ensures operational excellence across all business areas, with a focus on health and safety, anti-bribery practices, equality, and sustainability.

After a distinguished 16-year career in the British Army, Dominic Roberts brought his strategic acumen and leadership skills to Poseidon Group as Chief Operations Officer. In this role, he was instrumental in expanding the company’s operations within the real estate sector, spearheading projects that solidified the Group’s reputation for excellence in property investment, development, and management.

Building on this success, Dominic initiated and led the Group’s diversification into the mining sector, establishing partnerships and ventures that have earned international recognition. His ability to navigate complex industries and foster growth has been pivotal to the Group's multi-sector expansion.

As Director and Board Member, Dominic plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across its global operations. His commitment to sustainable development, ethical business practices, and delivering value to partners and stakeholders aligns with the Group’s mission to create long-term impact across its investments.
