Serbian tourism generated EUR 1.042 bln last year, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said at the opening of the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade on February 23.

“Tourists around the world are looking for new destinations, and this is our chance,” said Vucic.

Vucuc also said that Serbia is becoming attractive for visitors from the West and for the last three years turnover from tourism has been growing 10 pct a year. He also said that the average growth of tourism in the world is 4.0 pct a year, in Europe – 2.0 pct, while in Serbia it is 13 pct.
