The share indices of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose on Thursday while total daily turnover shrank, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, added 0.90% to 693.40 points after gaining 0.68% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline index increased 0.98% to 1,381.73 after closing up 0.79% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna closed up 1.14% in euro terms at 212.33 after losing 0.12% on Wednesday.
Total turnover fell to 31.6 million dinars ($339,000/265,000 euro) from 48.8 million dinars on Wednesday.
Home appliances maker Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] generated Thursday’s largest turnover of 7.4 million dinars, closing up 0.92% at 16,450 dinars.
Transport company Lasta [BEL:LSTA] paced the session’s gainers, closing 19.71% higher at 419 dinars with 453 shares changing hands.
Machinery producer Gosa FOM [BEL:GFOM] led the decliners, ending down 4.0% at 240 dinars in a volume of 45 shares.
