Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced 9th of March that the Serbian government will set aside €1 million as support to women’s entrepreneurship, and called on women to use this opportunity if they want to start their own business.

Speaking at the roundtable meeting “Women’s entrepreneurship – potential for development ” in Kovacica, Vucic underlined that the Serbian government will increase support to women’s entrepreneurship from €250,000 to €1 million, adding that these funds will be released this year through the Serbian Development Agency.

The Prime Minister said that it is a good idea that the ladies who want this state aid have advantage over men and noted that women have always been better students than man.
