Croatia’s retail sales volume rose by a real 7.3% in 2024, the country’s statistical office said on Thursday, quoting working-day adjusted figures. According to earlier figures by the same office, Croatia’s retail sales volume increased in real terms by 3.7% in 2023, and 2.1% in 2022.
Alone in December, retail sales volume grew 6.5% on the year, following an increase of 6.7% in November.
On a monthly comparison basis, seasonally- and working-day adjusted retail sales volume increased 1.4% in December, after it expanded by 1.0% in November.
