Construction of the new 65,000 sq. m passenger terminal at Zagreb International Airport is proceeding according to plan. Concrete construction of the new terminal is practically over, while construction of the terminal’s roof and facade is expected to complete this year.
The new terminal building together with ancillary facilities is to be completed in December 2016.
Total investment in the project is estimated at EUR 331 mln.
Construction work started in December 2013 and is being performed by Bouygues Batiment International, together with Croatian companies Viadukt, Kamgrad, Zagreb Montaza and KFK Tehnika.
“The airport concessionaire, ZAIC consortium, has secured money and, as far as we know, works are two and a half months ahead of schedule,” Croatia’s Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Sinisa Hajdas Doncic said earlier this month.
