Austrian developer Eyemaxx Real Estate will open tomorrow the first phase of its Serbian logistics center, Log Center Belgrade in Stara Pazova, the local municipality announced on Friday.

The first phase, estimated at EUR 10 mln, comprises two warehouses, with a gross leasable area of 17,000 sq. m, built on a 37,000 sq. m site. The anchor tenant is DB Shenker. In August the company leased 2,600 sq. m of warehouse and 700 sq. m of office space at Log Center Belgrade.

Log Center Belgrade provides for construction of five warehouses in the next phase, an outlet center in the third phase and retail park in the fourth and final phase. The project is to be implemented by 2020.

In 2008 Eyemaxx bought about 50 ha of land in Stara Pazova with plans to develop a EUR 300 mln business complex on the site.

Log Center Belgrade is located 20 km from Belgrade, 50 km from Novi Sad, with a direct connection to E75 Highway, nearby roads E-70 and E-5, and close to Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade.

Log Center Belgrade is a concept that has already been implemented in several countries, among others in Slovakia (Log Center Nove Mesto) and Romania (Log Center Timisoara).

Eyemaxx Real Estate was founded in the mid-nineties by Michael Müller. The Austrian company builds commercial and residential buildings throughout Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
