Serbian Delta Holding, which has recently announced new projects in Belgrade, is carrying out reconstruction of the so-called small tower of the former Geneks business complex in Block 19 in New Belgrade, once the most representative business complex in this part of Europe.
The building is now experiencing its first serious reconstruction since 1988, when it was built. The project, estimated at around EUR 3.5 mln, includes a complete renovation of the facade and interior of the building. In addition to this ongoing project, Delta Holding is preparing two more in the immediate vicinity, including a business hotel in Block 20 and a new headquarters building in Block 19.
Having successfully completed reconstruction of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in late 2013, Delta Holding is currently negotiating to open a new hotel under one of InterContinental Hotels’ brands in Belgrade.
The company is also preparing to start construction of a 10-story headquarters building on the Impulse Hall site. The building’s GBA will be approximately 20,620 sq. m, including two underground floors with 180 parking spaces. The architectural solution for this building has been created by Israeli MYS Architects, which already cooperated with Delta on other projects, including Delta City shopping center and the future Delta Planet Mall.
The approximate value of the new headquarters is estimated at EUR 25 mln. During the design tender, Delta Holding announced plans to begin construction of this building as early as June this year, Beobuild.rs reports.
