The prices of dwellings in Croatia increased by an average 13.1% on the year in the first quarter of 2025, the statistical office said on Friday.
The prices of new dwellings rose by 14.3% and prices of existing dwellings increased 12.7% from January to March 2025 compared to the same period of 2024, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a quarterly report.
Prices of dwellings rose by 12.9% in the capital Zagreb, 11.3% on the Adriatic coast and 18.5% in Croatia’s other regions.
Compared to the last quarter of 2024, prices of dwellings increased 4.5% in the first quarter.
In 2024, the prices of dwellings in Croatia increased by 10.4%, following an increase of 11.9% in 2023.
