The prices of dwellings in Croatia increased on average by 10% on the year in the second quarter of 2024, the statistical office said on Thursday. The prices of new dwellings rose by 5.4% and prices of existing dwellings increased 10.6% in the period from April to June this year compared to the same period of 2023, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a quarterly report.
On an annual level, prices of dwellings rose by 9.4% on average in the capital Zagreb, 10.6% on the Adriatic coast and 9.2% in Croatia’s other regions in the period under review.
Prices of dwellings increased 4.3% in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter.
The prices of dwellings in Croatia increased on average by 11.9% in 2023, the same statistical office has said earlier.
