Croatia’s Office for State Property Management (DUUDI), which has received 700 expressions of interest from interested parties to buy or rent the first hundred properties (100-list) from the register of state property, said preferences will be given to those deals that include the launch of production or tourist investment.
According to DUUDI head Mladen Pejnovic, the first tenders will be announced in October, and the next – by the end of the year.
Priority will be given to tenders for hospitality and tourism facilities in the Dalmatia region, including the Duilovo complex, Ceska Villa on the Island of Vis and Villa Bianca in Trogir, as well as two former military facilities: Gata in Omis and Sepurine, near Zadar.
Speaking about the competition for Duilovo, Pejnovic said that ten expressions of interest have been received from the following companies and individuals, i.e. Zidaric, Puljas and Jurun, Turkish companies Casta Istanbul Dubai and Argrup Istanbul, local-based Solaris d.d., Titan Nekretnine and Karisma Hotels Adriatic, as well as Djecji vrtic ‘Duga’ and Hvidra Duilovo.
Mladen Pejnovic also said that the former military facility Zvekovica in Konavle, and Dubrovnik Villa in Cingrije, as well as two properties in Sipan, Dubrovnik-Neretva County are included in the so-called first‘100 list’.
Pejnovic also announced that another 100 unused properties will soon be offered by the state, Slobodna Dalmacija reports.
