Sombor’s first retail park – Capitol Park Sombor – opens for visitors and customers at 10.00 am, Thursday 21 September. Located in the city centre, at Štrosmajerova 28, the Capitol Park becomes a new focus for shopping and family fun.
The opening day will be filled with entertaining activities, surprises, and sizeable store discounts. At 8.00 pm a spectacular concert by famous singer Željko Vasić will be held. Brands that will welcome their first customers in Sombor include Deichmann, Takko, DM, C&A, Studio Moderna (Top Shop), Nefa furnture, Winner Exchange Office, My Kiosk and Galen Pharmacy. A Lidl hypermarket will open in 2018.
Capitol Park Sombor is Serbia’s second retail park project by British investor Poseidon Group. It will serve more than 100,000 citizens of Sombor and the surrounding Vojvodina municipalities. More than 100 new jobs have been created. Later In October, Capital Park Rakovica will open. New projects are planned across the country.
