{"id":2859,"date":"2017-07-12T14:14:52","date_gmt":"2017-07-12T14:14:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/poseidon-gp.com\/property\/?p=2859"},"modified":"2017-07-12T14:14:52","modified_gmt":"2017-07-12T14:14:52","slug":"overseas-investment-in-london-at-record-levels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/poseidon-gp.com\/property\/overseas-investment-in-london-at-record-levels\/","title":{"rendered":"Overseas investment in London at record levels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A record 81% of investment in central London has come from overseas buyers so far this year, according to Savills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The rise from 72% last year came as investment reached \u00a37.2bn by the end of May\u00a0\u2013 up 0.3% year-on-year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Savills predicts that total annual figures could top \u00a315bn for the fifth year in a row.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Although City and West End yields softened after global market shocks, Savills expects yields to remain stable due to the weight of investor demand for secure income.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">City yields have already fallen 25 bps since January.
