With three retail parks operating or soon to open in \u0160abac, Sombor and Belgrade, Poseidon Group continues to invest in the Serbian retail market. Confirmed today, the UK-based property investor, developer and asset manager will bring its Capitol Park brand of retail parks to the 165,000 residents of the southern city of Leskovac.<\/p>\n
The plot of 16,500 sqm is situated in the wider city centre, at the junction of 28 Marta and Strahinji\u0107a Bana streets. It benefits from being located next to a densely populated residential zone and access to the E75 highway.<\/p>\n
\u201cCapitol Park Leskovac will be Poseidon\u2019s fourth retail park in Serbia.\u00a0 It will bring around 100 jobs to the local community in the construction phase and a further 150 upon opening,\u201d said the company\u2019s corporate affairs director James Gunn.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Construction will start in spring 2018 for opening in the autumn. Capitol Park Leskovac will include nine units with a total lettable area of 8,320 sqm. It will be the first modern shopping facility in the city and its first retail park. The park will focus on providing modern retail and leisure opportunities for families in Leskovac.<\/p>\n
The tenant mix will be adjusted to shopper needs and compose international and well-known local brands. A major food hypermarket, fashion shops for adults and children, sports goods and home furnishing and decoration will provide future visitors with a complete shopping experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
