Manchester, where property values have increased by 8.3 per cent\u00a0year-on-year, is in third place.<\/p>\n<p>London was placed eighth, behind cities including Southampton and Bournemouth.<\/p>\n<p>Aberdeen is the only city on the list where house prices have fallen over the last year, recording a 3.7 per cent\u00a0decline.<\/p>\n<p>Hometrack said house prices in London, at \u00a3486,600 on average, are now 85 per cent\u00a0higher than they were in 2009.
